GB Paralympians go for glory

There will be a special programme on the 8th Winter Paralympics on BBC Two on Thursday 21 March 1800-1845GMT.

Presented by Michael Peschardt, the programme includes a special feature on the GB entry of alpine-sit skiers Russell Docker and Stephen Napier.

Plus there's an interview with the star of the Games Norway's Rayhnhild Myklebust.

The 58-year-old veteran proved to be an inspirational figure at Salt Lake City and is possibly the greatest Paralympian of all time.

She won five golds this year, bringing her career total to 22 medals in five Paralympics.

And all this in the most punishing of disciplines, the sit-skiing events.

There will also be an in-depth look at the Games big scandal- the first-ever positive drugs test at a Paralympics.

Plus a round-up of the best of the action.

Winter Paralympics Special, BBC Two, Thursday 21 March, 1800-1845 GMT.
