Paul Dickenson

As a former discus and hammer thrower, Paul Dickenson is no stranger to Olympic action and represented Great Britain in the 1976 and 1980 Games.

Since then, he has proved to be a versatile broadcaster, commentating on a variety of sporting events including the Winter Olympics.

His first appearance for BBC TV was at the 1990 Commonwealth Games and he has become a regular voice in BBC TV's athletics commentary team, specialising in field events.

Paul has also commentated on rugby union, the BBC's World Strongest Man and at the Paralympics in Sydney.
