Bobsleigh crewman

Dave McCalla won an Olympic berth having spent six years on the national team.

McCalla, cousin of rugby star Jeremy Guscott, was part of the GB2 four-man bob team which finished 14th in Salt Lake City.

The 28-year-old had previously represented Great Britain at the World Championships.

McCalla played an important role in the improvement in form of Lee Johnston's four-man bob over the course of the season.
