Former sprinter Marcus Adam went to the Winter Olympics 10 years after he made the 200m final at the Summer Games in Barcelona.

Earlier, Marcus won a gold medal in the 200m at the 1990 Commonwealth Games.

Adam was only 85% fit when he competed in the two-man bobsleigh at Salt Lake City because he was still recovering from a broken toe.

He was brakeman in GB1 which finished 10th.
