Lives Aviemore, Scotland
Occupation: Athlete
Previous Olympics: None

Alpine skier, specialising in, slalom, giant slalom, super-G

Noel Baxter is Alain Baxter's younger brother, by seven years.

The younger Baxter could not concentrate on his second slalom run because his brother had just won a bronze medal.

Nevertheless, he made it down the tricky slope and finished a highly respectable 21st.

He excels in the slalom events and was 26th in last year's FIS World Junior Alpine Championships - this followed successes in the British Junior Slalom and super-G championships.

Baxter's other interests are ice hockey, tennis, golf and shinty.
