Ski jumper

Glynn Pedersen is Britain's first Olympic ski jumper since Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards at Calgary in 1988.

Pedersen is a much better athlete than Edwards, but he was disappointed not to qualify for either the K90 or K120 finals at Salt Lake City.

Pedersen was born and raised in Canada but his parents are English.

Two years ago, he went about "changing" his nationality so he could compete for Britain in Salt Lake City.

He has been concentrating on the Continental Cup and has already recorded a seventh place in a K89 event.
