Janice Rankin
Janice Rankin has already enjoyed a fair degree of success on the curling circuit. The women's lead player grabbed silver at the world ladies event in 1994 and the European championships in 1998. The 1992 world junior champion will have plenty of support from husband Stephen - a top curler himself - whom she married last summer. Rankin lives in Inverness, where she is a recruitment administrator. She celebrated her thirtieth birthday during this Olympic trip.
She is the only left-hander on the team, which gives skip Martin some challenges when calling the shots. |
