Curling - men's team

Peter Loudon was disappointed not to progress to the semi-finals.

He was another comparative veteran of the men's team with plenty of experience to fall back on.

As well as winning one world and two European gold medals, Britain's lead player has coached the women's team when the sport was a demonstration contest at Albertville 92.

The 35-year-old's success is not surprising, given that his family includes other curling greats Betty, Edith and Katie.
