Two-woman bobsleigh, brakewoman for the GB1 team

Davies is the newest and youngest recruit to the women's bobsleigh team, having only started the sport last season.

Despite a relative lack of experience, the 24-year-old and her partnering driver still managed to rank above Britain's other team going to Salt Lake City.

And the brakewoman in GB2, was delighted when she beat the GB1 team in finishing 11th.

Davies took a one-year sabbatical from the Royal Air Force to fulfil her dream of competing for Great Britain at the Games.
