Two-woman bobsleigh, driver for the GB2 team

Michelle Coy, who is taking a one-year sabbatical from the Royal Air Force, was in one of two British teams competing in the women's event at Salt Lake.

Coy, driver of GB2, beat the GB1 team when she finished 11th in the inaugural women's bobsleigh.

The Bath-based athlete got hooked on bobsleigh nearly a decade ago and has been involved in the sport seriously since 1992.

The 30-year-old's most memorable achievement was gold in a World Cup race in Calgary in 1997.
