Ukraine will not appeal against the decision to bar nordic skier Irina Terelia from the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics after she failed a blood test.
"The Ukrainian delegation sees no reason to protest," Ivan Bondartchouk the Ukrainian Olympic committee's spokesman, told the AFP news agency.
Terelia was not allowed to compete in the 4x5km relay after blood tests showed abnormally high haemoglobin levels.
Similar results led to Russian skier Larissa Lazutina being banned from the same event, sparking a threat from Russia to boycott
the Games' closing ceremony.
