Team GB entertained by Coolio
By BBC Sport Online's Anna Thompson in Salt Lake City
British Winter Olympians have been chilling out to the sounds of rap artist Coolio.
The US star entertained competitors from around the world at the Olympic Village in Salt Lake City and the Brits joined in the fun.
Coolio performed for an hour-and-a-half and sung hits including Fantastic Voyage, Gangsta's Paradise, and 1, 2, 3, 4, Sumpin' New.
Coolio said: "It's totally an honour. It's just one of those things that everybody doesn't get to do. "You've got to take some special pride in that."
Coolio said all the different countries and cultures got into the party spirit and had a great time.
He added: "We have a lot of fans worldwide. That makes it pretty easy because they know a lot of our hit songs, so it'll make it that much easier for us to get them into the mood.
"We take pride in what we do.
"I think that all the athletes are representing their countries, and I'm sure they have a lot of pride in what they do.
"We wanted to give it to them just like they give it to us."
A BOA spokesman said: "A few of the British team had a nose at what was going on. It is nice for them to switch off and enjoy themselves for a little while."
