Thursday 24th May was another cloudy day in Austria with poor visibility on the glacier slopes. All glaciers scheduled to be open were open though so there is good skiing available if you don't mind the poor visibility.
Nine lifts were running on the Stubai Glacier (350cm) on Thursday and the slopes were very quiet. It's fairly cold for the time of year too, so a temperature of just below freezing on the glacier means the snow remains in good condition.
The freezing level is expected to remain around 2900m for the weekend and into next week so temperatures on the glacier will be quite low.
