There wasn't really any fresh snow in Austria over the week but poor weather and low temperatures have kept the snow in good condition. Last week Stubai Glacier received 60cm of fresh snow and the benefits of this are still being enjoyed.

Switzerland and Italy both enjoyed sunnier skies on Thursday with fairly low temperatures still. Presena Glacier and Zermatt both offer good skiing although fairly limited.

This week is Whistler's last week of winter operations before they close. Blackcomb Mountain had eight lifts operating on it on Monday with good spring snow to ski. The Horstman Glacier reopens for skiing on 23rd June.

All of our featured southern hemisphere resorts are yet to open for the 2012 season.
