Broadcasting House
Broadcasting House is presented by Eddie Mair and goes out every Sunday at 0900BST.
The best election-related items from the programme will be featured here over the next few weeks. If you missed the programme, you can hear it on Broadcasting House's own website at www.bbc.co.uk/bh. You can also hear more selected items from the programmes and send us your comments.
Sunday 10th June
This was meant to be the internet election, the first time interactive communications technology would make a real difference to the electoral process. Voters would be better informed and candidates would be online and responsive. But a turnout of lower than sixty percent suggests that if it made any difference it was only on the margins. The BBC's Dan Damon reports on what the early evidence tells us about the internet election.
Sunday 3rd June
Imagine the election is finally over, it's a sunny morning on Friday 8th June and the new government is settling in. Who is it? Which party leader is gathering his cabinet in 10 Downing Street and setting out his programme for government? We asked the three main parties to imagine it's them...
Sunday 27 May
For some, the election campaign is an opportunity to test the politicians and judge their policies. Others wonder whether we need four weeks of news conferences, leafleting and speeches. We hear from media commentator and former Fleet Street editor Roy Greenslade on dragging the election kicking and screaming into the 21st century. Supporting the status quo is Ian Dale, joint owner of Politico's Publishing and self-confessed "political junkie".
Sunday 20 May
Broadcasting House has had access to a disturbing and unsettling memorandum, leaked from 'Party Headquarters'. At the end of a week of frenzied public interest, and fairly consistent excitement, it reveals how seriously the campaign has been de-railed by members of the public ... just getting in the way.
