As the election campaign approaches the voters give their verdict on the party leaders and their policies in BBC News Online latest exclusive opinion poll.

ICM polled 1,033 adults in England, Wales and Scotland between Tuesday 24 April and Tuesday 1 May, 270 of them by telephone and the rest by email. The results have been weighted to the profile of all adults.
