Are you even registered to vote, do you feel disenfranchised, why should you bother voting? Liverpool Riverside had the lowest turnout in the UK at the last general election. Just over half of those entitled to vote actually went to the polls. There are a variety of reasons why people don't cast their vote.
The two main reasons are feeling that your vote doesn't matter or that there is no real difference between the parties and their policies. Why is voter apathy so widespread? What can be done to improve the situation? The BBC's Political Editor Andrew Marr answered your questions in a live forum. His programme "The Election: Why Bother?" went out on BBC1 on 17 May at 22.40 BST.
