Trunki Boss: 'It's been a challenge'

The Today programme's Friday Boss is designer Rob Law, managing director of Magmatic.

Mr Law appeared on BBC Two's Dragons' Den in 2006 looking for an investment in Trunki, a child's suitcase which doubles as a ride-on toy.

The Dragons decided not to invest, but Magmatic has since sold more than 1.6m Trunki suitcases in more than 60 countries.

Talking to Today business presenter Simon Jack, Mr Law explained that fulfilling his plan to move the Trunki factory back to the UK from China was a "bit of a challenge" due to the current financial climate.

"It's belt and braces, and staying very focused on what we want to achieve in the future," he said.
