Is there a Chinese equivalent of the American Dream?


Due to the current state of the American economy, many Americans expect their children to have worse lives than them, but traditionally this is is not what the American dream was supposed to be about.

So what about people's dreams in the world's second largest economy - China?

Sunni Doo, volunteer for the Youth Business China programme (YBC) says "In Chinese culture we'd rather be the head of the chicken, rather than the tail of the phoenix."

The Today programme's business presenter Simon Jack spoke to a range of business entrepreneurs.
