In his current stand-up show, Al Murray performs a routine on prime ministers past.

By the time he gets beyond Callaghan, he finds that almost everyone in the audience has glazed over and no longer has any idea who he is talking about.

Al Murray guest-edited BBC Radio 4's Today Programme on Tuesday 1 January 2013.
