Women's voices from Africa

Today's guest editor this morning is Melinda Gates, who, with her husband Bill, is one of the world's leading philanthropists.

She has been involved in a lot of projects in Africa and is positive about its future and women's roles in it.

Four prominent female African leaders reflect on their hopes for 2013.

We hear from Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, President of Liberia; Jane Otai, health adviser in Kenya; Joyce Banda, Malawi President; and Ruth ONiang'o, professor of nutrition in Kenya.
