As a commission from Today's guest editor Melinda Gates, Today business presenter Lesley Curwen went to meet the Afghan media mogul Saad Mohseni, the chairman of Moby Group which runs a range of TV and radio channels in Afghanistan which are helping re-shape the country's culture.

Mr Mohseni explained that he is actively supporting the Gates Foundation efforts to eradicate polio in Aghanistan and Pakistan, and described how does business against a backdrop of corruption.

"You feel very helpless but is some thing that you feel compelled to press ahead with," he explained.

"It's like standing in front of a tsunami."
