Stargazing with Sir Paul Nurse

Today's guest editor this morning, is Sir Paul Nurse, Nobel Prize winning geneticist and President of the Royal Society.

His own interest in science was, like that of so many others, prompted by gazing at the stars.

He explained to Today programme's Evan Davis that he has never lost his fascination in astronomy and keeps a telescope in his flat for the occasional peek at the skies.

Sir Paul took Evan and physicist Professor Brian Cox to see it.
