Sheridan Smith: 'Gabler role is out of my comfort zone'

At the age of 31, Sheridan Smith, who started her career in television sitcoms like Gavin and Stacey and has gone on to win two Olivier theatre awards and has been described as one of the stage stars of her generation.

She describes her new role as Ibsen's Hedda Gabler as: "The biggest leap out of my comfort zone."

Smith is also currently starring in the television drama Mrs Biggs.
