London Met 'vastly under-qualified' foreign student

New evidence has emerged that one of Britain's big universities may have been accepting foreign students even though they don't meet the rules that allow them to study here.

The Today programme was contacted by an admissions tutor at another British university who said he was contacted by one of the London Met students who wanted to transfer to an engineering course.

But the tutor said the student was "vastly under-qualified" and could not even speak English properly.

Please note that the tutor has been voiced up by an actor to protect his identity.
