National Youth Orchestra of Iraq to perform in London

Iraqi teenagers learned to play music without teachers but with the danger of being caught with western instruments as an escape from a world of car bombs and chaos.

A 17-year-old girl decided the secret musicians should get together to create an orchestra and they are to perform their first concerts in Britain.

Arts Correspondent David Sillito met the National Youth Orchestra of Iraq as they prepared for the concert at London's South Bank.
