Military action 'eases Somali piracy threat'

A report published by the House of Lords EU Committee for External Affairs this week has praised progress made by the EU task force on piracy off the coast of Somalia but warned that if lasting change is to be made, the operation needs to be extended past the current deadline of December 2014.
