The Leveson Inquiry "has shone a light on the behaviour of the press and politicians and the police in a way that none of us thought was possible" according to the writer and comedian Steve Coogan.
Speaking on the programme Mr Coogan, who gave evidence at the hearings, said that they have been "incredibly revealing".
The inquiry, which was prompted by the phone hacking scandal, will hold its last scheduled public hearings today. It has taken evidence from more that 470 witnesses and has cost more than £5.5m.
