Rebels have taken control of several parts of the city of Damascus in Syria. Correspondent Paul Wood has managed to enter Syria undercover and reports from just outside Damascus on the state of the uprising.
Abu Ala, head of the revolutionary council in Damascus, says the regime used to depend on the secret police - on terror - but now that power is broken.
"Now it depends on the military but the military is growing weaker too," he says.
