A vote will be held today in the Scottish Premier League to determine whether Glasgow Rangers should be allowed to stay in the league.
Roddy Forsyth, BBC commentator and Scottish football expert, says that some polls have been showing that a significant number of fans from other clubs would "rather Rangers go bust rather than allowing them back in to their league".
SPL chairman Neil Doncaster, discuss how the vote could affect Scottish football, told the Today programme that their would be financial implications if Rangers were relegated to the third division but sais that "it's frankly wrong that 41 innocent clubs should pay the deeds for one guilty club".
