'We must decarbonise our economy'


What do the environmentalists think about the government's decision to delay a three-pence increase in fuel duty that was planned for August.

Andrew Pendleton, head of campaigns at Friends of the Earth, believes the rise in fuel duty by 3p in August is a "warning sign that we need to wean ourselves off oil".

Speaking to the Today programme he said the UK needs a plan to "decarbonise the whole economy".
