Will H5N1 mutate in humans?

The H5N1 bird flu virus could change into a form able to spread rapidly between humans, scientists have warned.

Professor Derek Smith of Cambridge University explained that the virus mutation "is on the borderline of being possible" in humans.

We should be "relieved and vigilant" following the research, he said.
