Placido Rizzotto, an Italian man who was murdered 64 years ago after making a courageous stand against the Mafia in the 1940s, is now being given a state funeral.

Placido Rizzotto's nephew told the BBC's Alan Johnston: "it is said the mafia has good memory but the Rizzotto family also has long memory. Even if 64 years have passed we have not forgotten".
