What do plants know?

The Chelsea Flower Show is about to open - but have you ever stopped to wonder what the plants make of it all?

Science correspondent Tom Feilden took biologist Danny Chamovitz, author of What a Plant Knows, around the show to find out how plant senses work.

"Plants don't know how to do trigonometry or linear algebra but they're aware of a lot of things," he explained.
