James Daunt: Amazon have the best reading devices

The bookstore chain Waterstones is partnering up with Amazon to sell the Kindle and all things ebook in store.

James Daunt, managing director of Waterstones, explains that "it's a question of us recognising that [Amazon] have the best devices".

He told Today business presenter Simon Jack that what is motivating them is to "meet the reading needs of our customers".

He admits that the partnership was not something he would have anticipated a while ago but says that he is "here to provide reading in the best possible way to our customers".
