Father shocked by memorial theft

A memorial plaque dedicated to two children killed by an IRA bomb has been stolen from Warrington town centre.

Colin Parry, the father of Tim Parry, one of the boys who was killed in 1993, told Today presenter Jim Naughtie that it was "a great shock" when he found out.

"It's hard to imagine why anybody would stoop so low as to do this", he said and added that there is a lot of "disgust" in the community over the theft.
