What are the dangers of a Greece exit from the euro for Britain and the rest of the eurozone?
Former chancellor Lord Lamont told Today presenter Jim Naughtie that the eurozone crisis is "extremely threatening to Britain".
A disorderly break-up would be "messy", and would have a "corrosive effect" on business and consumer confidence, he said.
"This going on, and on, and on... the threat being in the background is profoundly destabilising".
Lord Lamont said that he does not think Germany will bend on the terms of Greece's austerity measures and said their exit from the Eurozone would be "inevitable". "We may get a situation where the eurozone will have to tell Greece to leave", he adds.
