One of the details that emerged from Rebekah Brooks' testimony to the Leveson Inquiry yesterday was that David Cameron would sign his texts to her LOL, which he thought meant lots of love, until she pointed out that LOL means laugh out loud. But regardless of the semantics of this, is it appropriate for grown men to be texting LOL even if they do know what it means?
