After Ken Livingstone announced that this was his "last election", the BBC's Andrew Hosken looks back at his political life and times.

Boris Johnson's victory in the London Mayoral Election marked the electoral curtain-call for the Labour politician who has been part of the political scene in the capital and Westminster for the past three decades.

Tessa Jowell, MP for Dulwich and West Norwood and his last campaign manager, praised Mr. Livingstone's work on the 2012 London Olympic games saying "Ken deserves his share of credit".
