'OK to fall asleep' in five-hour opera Einstein on the Beach

Philip Glass's opera Einstein on the Beach, a five-hour avant-garde piece with no plot, is coming to Britain for the first time.

The BBC's arts correspondent David Sillitoe spoke to Philip Glass and Robert Wilson, the creators of the opera.

"If you fall asleep, when you wake up it'll still be going on so that's ok," Philip Glass told him.
