The private record collection of the DJ and broadcaster John Peel, who died in 2004, has been described as one of the most important archives in modern music history.
Over the course of four decades he collected more than 25,000 albums, which he kept at his home near Stowmarket in Suffolk.
Apart from close friends and family, no one has known exactly what is in the collection, until now. Part of it is being put online on The Space, a new website created by the Arts Council and the BBC.
Arts correspondent Rebecca Jones has been ploughing through the collection.
