In its heyday, the Hacienda in Manchester called itself the most famous music club in the world.
In a few weeks time, Manchester will be marking the 30th anniversary of the opening of the city's iconic club.
Jointly owned at the time by Factory Records and the band New Order, three decades on, much of the music it grew out of and championed is surprisingly back in fashion.
Mark Coles caught up with former New Order and Joy Division bass player Peter Hook to find out why.
