A Syrian activist has told the BBC's Richard Colebourn that around 400 Free Syrian Army fighters, who are under attack by government forces in the district of Baba Amr, "will fight to the end".
The activist, who shot videos in Homs and posted them onto the internet, said that it is now becoming very hard to tell people what is going on.
"There will be more crimes" he said, "and no one will know."
When asked about the response from the international community, he said that he feels "disgusted".
"I'm not from another planet, I'm a human being trying to ask for help," he said.
