'Thrills outstrip romance' at public libraries

Data released this morning on the most most borrowed at public libraries in the UK suggests that have turned away from romance, towards crime and thrillers. Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol was the most borrowed book in the year 2010-2011.

Five books from American thriller writer, James Patterson are in the top 10. There were two by the author Lee Child. Evan Davis spoke to Lee Child about what has driven this huge shift from romance novels to thrillers?
