Police custody death figures 'skewed'

A joint investigation by the BBC and the Bureau of Investigative Journalism has found that the number of people who have died after being restrained by the police is higher than official figures suggest.

Concern over the way the Independent Police Complaints Commission has collated the figures has prompted calls for an inquiry.
