US 'won't let Iran have nuclear bomb'

President Obama's State of the Union message to both houses of congress in Washington last night was, in practice, the opening of his re-election campaign.

He said that it was time for Americans to be more optimistic that the troubling economic times might suggest that they should be.

The American ambassador in London, a strong supporter and associate of the president, Louis Susman gives his impression of the president's message.
