Nigeria's 'cooking pot' of conflict

The savagery of the latest attacks in the city of Kano in Nigeria has shocked Nigerians and the outside world.

The number of people dead is unconfirmed but looks likely to be more than 200 and Boko Harem, the Islamic group responsible, is promising more killing and suffering.

We hear from some residents about what happened.

And the Bishop of Durham the Right Reverend Justin Welby who just returned from Nigeria, described the situation for Christians.
