Harman: We are fighting the cuts

The leader of Britain's biggest union Unite has said that the shadow chancellor Ed Balls' decision to accept the government's public sector pay freeze puts the party into conflict with millions of poorly paid public sector workers.

He also says that by accepting the government's spending cuts, Labour's Ed Miliband has undermined his own leadership.

Labour's deputy leader Harriet Harman responds.
