'We need to talk up our economy'

Ipsos Mori's captains of industry survey has found that two-thirds of British business leaders think the UK economy needs to be rebalanced towards manufacturing to decrease our dependence on service industries.

Simon Atkinson, assistant chief executive of Ipsos Mori, explains what is behind the findings and James Ramsbotham, chief executive of North East Chamber of Commerce, reflects on the implications for his region.
