Pollution: China 'catching up on reality'


The Chinese authorities are to publish information about air pollution in the capital Beijing.

Isabel Hilton, a journalist and China specialist, says it is an important move in terms of public anger and civic action.

There is often a gap in China between "intention and reality" she says, but it is important to see China "catching up on reality" on the issue of air pollution.
